“Ron is pro in SWP, knowledgeable and passionate in the field and what he shared with us. He did not only impart the technicality of SWP but most importantly the principle and intent of if, which are applicable to whatever HR role we are playing in our organisations. My takeaway from this programme goes beyond SWP. I am encouraged to keep the fire for HR burning as I saw the potential of what HR can do while being comforted that my frustration is not uncommon. There is still hope for HR.”

Course Introduction

The list of workforce planning challenges seems endless: Skill gaps and shortages. Turnover. An aging workforce. Changing business models. Managing talent risks and expenses. The complexity of these issues and the urgency to fix them make it almost impossible to plan for more than a few months out.

You need a way to develop and implement a workforce plan that is agile and dynamic enough to help your organization thrive in today’s environment—while at the same time establishing yourself as a strategic partner to the business.

HCI’s certification program takes workforce planning out of the theoretical realm and gives you a methodology and set of tools that you can implement right away—beginning in class.

What You’ll Learn

HCI’s Strategic Workforce Planning model gives you a framework to prepare your organization for the future. As you learn each activity in the model, you’ll either begin real work or plan how to get started once you’re back on the job..
